Now, the 40-year-old actress is opening up some extra about that harrowing day in her first tv interview since William’s dying. On Friday, Bevin shared with Good Morning America that the couple had been boating with their household and associates close to their dwelling in Wrightsville Seaside once they noticed a “storm within the distance.” She continued:

“However we’d been there so many instances, and there was no urgency for anybody to get off the water at the moment. We have been watching it. We have been gauging it.”

The health teacher then remembered an eerie remark William made to her father within the second, saying:

“Proper earlier than it hit him, he lit a cigar, and he checked out my father, and he stated, ‘If we get struck by lightning, Mike, that is the place I wanna be.’”
